Do you Dance or Do you Survive?

‘Life isn’t about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.’

: a serious disturbance of any element of nature

: a disturbed or agitated state

: a sudden or violent commotion

: a heavy discharge of objects

: a tumultuous outburst

the movement of the body in a rhythmic way, usually to music and within a given space, for the purpose of expressing an idea or emotion, releasing energy, or simply taking delight in the movement itself.

Everyone has ‘storms’ in their life. Everything and anything that can wreak havoc on your daily life. It can be self-induced, or can be caused by outside sources. No matter what your storm may be, it’s what you do with that storm that matters.

“Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it”.

Do you Dance or do you Survive?

Do you know the difference?

Making lemonade out of lemons its not always easy, but it sure makes the ride more bearable, and not as long!

The next time it rains on your parade, don’t be mad at the rain. Don’t be mad that it’s not clear and sunny. Don’t point fingers and place blame.

In the end, you can’t change the rain, but you can change how the rain affects you.

As you’re cleaning up the ‘mess’ that the rain left. Do you want to laugh at the thoughts of your dancing, or will you remain angry at what you didn’t have?

Get up and dance in the rain!

Strong’s Comment, " I wrote this blog while I was dancing in the rain of my own storm"

As always take care of yourselves and yours. Carpe Diem
